Private Music- Violin (Unterbrink)
Ben has been playing piano since he was five years old. He majored in music at OSU, earning a degree in Composition while taking piano lessons concurrently from Professor Emeritus George Haddad and Professor Steven Glaser. Rather than focus on one area of piano music, he augmented his repertoire through extensive study of the Baroque through Modern periods. In addition, Ben has accompanied orchestra and band instruments, a youth choir, and even performed the first movement of Shostakovichs Second Piano Concerto with his high schools chamber orchestra. He started his exploration of electric guitar after extensive training in violin and piano, and uses a structured approach for teaching guitar. Ben can accommodate beginning students interested in learning the basics of acoustic or electric guitar and is qualified to teach all levels of piano.
