The Delaware County Cultural Arts Center, better known as The Arts Castle, is dedicated to nurturing the creative energies of residents of Delaware County and surrounding areas by offering full access to a variety of multi-arts experiences such as classes, workshops, performances, exhibitions, and special events.

NOTE:
The Arts Castle will be closed September 6, November 25-28, and December 24- January 2 for the holidays.

Wine-Tasting: Big Red Blind! Ages 21+
One of our more popular, fun and educational tasting is back! Seven big reds, seven different wine regions from around the world, seven popular red varietals, all brown-bagged for the tasting. Match the wine to the varietal and win! French bread, cheeses and fruit will be served.

Fundamentals of Food & Wine Ages 21+
Shellfish and Chablis, Chardonnay and cream sauce, lamb and Shiraz…why do the classics work? How do I identify food-friendly wines? This interactive tasting is unique and eye-opening. Learn how the flavors of sweet, sour, acidic, salty and umami work with different characteristics in wine. French bread, cheeses and fruit will be served.

Start your holiday season with a visit to The Arts Castle’s annual art show and sale. Our 1854 mansion is decked out in holiday style, with every nook and cranny filled with affordable fine art and crafts of dozens of artists in an astonishing variety of media.

Holiday Open House

December 12, 1:00 - 5:00pm
You are invited free of charge to our third annual Holiday Open House! Featured are performances by members of The Arts Castle’s dance, theatre, puppetry, and music programs along with demonstrations by our artist/instructors. Enjoy our 1854 mansion in all of its holiday splendor while you munch refreshments, peruse art in the Gallery Shop, help your children with craft activities. Who knows? Perhaps a special visitor from the North Pole will stop by!

The Arts Castle hosts a reception for the artists of every exhibit. Receptions are always free and open to the public. Meet the artists and enjoy refreshments while you experience the art at the Castle!

The Arts Castle's Dance Academy and Pre-Acaademy programs nurtures and supports students as they discover the joy of dance through a combination of quality technique and personal expression.

Painting. Drawing. Acting. Dancing. Making. Imagining. Creating. Time off from school = time for painting and crafts, time for hip hop, time for theatrics. This is a full day of the arts! Bring a nonperishable lunch, drink, snack, water bottle, and a smock or T-shirt that can get messy; dress in clothes that allow easy movement (wear pants; no denim).
