Events at The Arts Castle

events & performances

The Arts Castle hosts both recurring and unique special events throughout the year. One of The Arts Castle's oldest traditions is the annual Castle Arts Affair; this art show and sale showcases original, afforbale, high-quality fine arts and crafts by dozens of artisans.

The Arts Castle also sponsors performances of our Dance Academy, Dance Company, music students, and theater students, both at The Castle and venues around central Ohio. Most performances are free, and all are open to the public.

Exhibit reception:
critical eye 2010

Aug. 29 at 2:00pm
“Critical Eye” developed out of artists’ need to discuss with likeminded colleagues their artistic goals and philosophies and to compare notes on the technical means of achieving them-- rather than to struggle individually in comparative isolation. Currently, the group consists of 14 artists working in acrylics, oils, watercolor, pastels, mixed media, and fiber arts. The public is invited free of charge to the reception to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.

The Arts Castle's Dance Academy Open House will be held August 21.
