Unattended Children Policy
The Delaware County Cultural Arts Center (The Arts Castle) is an institution where all patrons can engage in artistic activities safely. However, due to limitations of space and resources, our staff and instructors are not available to provide adequate security and safety for children outside of the registered class timeframe. Therefore, it is imperative that parents/guardians drop off and pick up children for classes in a timely manner. Children should be picked up from class within 10 minutes of the scheduled class completion time. If a parent or guardian is delayed in picking up a child, prompt telephone notification to The Arts Castle staff is required. In addition, children who visit the center for activities such as exhibit viewing and special events should always be accompanied by a caregiver or parent.

Photography Waiver
By registering for a class, workshop, camp or event, you hereby grant and give this organization and its partner organizations the right to use your photograph or your child's photograph or image with or without your name or your child's name, both singly and in conjunction with other persons of objects, for any and all purposes including, but not limited to, private or public presentations, advertising, publicity, and promotion.

If you don't see a class that you would like offered at The Arts Castle, please call us. We would be happy to look into offering it in the future.

The class evaluation forms are an important tool to gauge the success of our programming. Please let us know how you feel about the classes you or your children take and rate the instructor's performance. If you would like to discuss a class in private, please call.

Feedback is important for our instructors as well. If you liked the class or have suggestions for follow up classes, please inform your instructor. Our instructors present class proposals before each quarter and the programming is developed from those proposals. Student ideas play an important role and will be considered. While it may not be possible to act on every suggestion, we encourage your participation in the planning process.

Programming could be affected by weather.

Class cancellations will be announced on the following TV/radio stations.

Please check our Facebook page for closings due to weather conditions:

A message will also be recorded on The Arts Castle's voicemail at 740/369-2787. We will do our best to post notice at least an hour before your class is due to start.
